b) An email - so I can send you an invite for a Zoom appointment. Relax....Zoom appointments are easy! I use Zoom for Healthcare, which has much better security than regular Zoom.

Yeah, you know what it is. This is the question that you secretly are saving for the last few seconds of the visit. Usually preceded by "Oh, and just one other thing....."

How to Zoom
Zoom is a program that allows video conferencing. Plus - with a little luck - we can share documents and pictures online. So I can show you pictures of your X-rays or lab results, and you can show me your rash.

To have a Zoom virtual visit we just email you an invitation to join a meeting in progress. All you have to do is click on the hotlink that is emailed to you, and you will get admitted to the "virtual waiting room". Then, when it is your turn, the visit will automatically start. And if there are any glitches we can always use phones as a backup.
Summary of the procedure
1) Fill out the New Patient Form. Once we receive it, the office will schedule a visit
2) When it is time for the visit, you will either get a phone call, or an email with a hot link to click on
3) That is it!
Just like for regular visits, it is best you have all your questions figured out ahead of time, have all your medications ready, etc.
